How long is the flight from London?

About 2 hours 20 minutes in a light or midsize jet from Luton or Farnborough, depending on winds and routing. Paris takes about 1 hour 50, and Geneva about 1 hour 35.

Why is August so hard to book?

Parking for private aircraft at Ibiza airport is limited and heavily in demand. In peak weeks the aircraft may drop you off, fly to another airport to wait, and return for you, which adds flying to the price.

Can I fly straight to Formentera?

No. Formentera has no airport, so you land in Ibiza and continue by boat, or by helicopter where landing permissions allow.

How early should I book for summer?

For opening and closing weekends and for August, as early as you can, because aircraft and parking go first. In May, June and October, shorter notice often works.

What does a flight to Ibiza cost?

It depends on the aircraft, the date and where the jet is based. As a guide, light jets typically run $3,500–5,500 per flight hour in US-market terms, so about 2 hours 20 minutes from London works out at roughly $8,000–13,000 of flying before fees, with any peak-week repositioning on top. Your quote gives the exact all-in figure.

Who operates the flights?

Licensed carriers: within Europe, operators holding an Air Operator Certificate under EU or UK rules; for US operators, FAA Part 135. Private Jet to Ibiza arranges the flight as a broker and names the operator before you book.

Can we bring the dog?

Often, yes. Many operators accept pets with approval in advance, and EU pet travel rules (microchip, rabies vaccination and the right documents) apply when you cross a border. Tell us about your dog when you ask.

Is there a membership or deposit?

Neither. Asking costs nothing; you pay only once you choose an option and sign the charter agreement.

Which London airports do you fly from?

Any that suits you and the aircraft, most often Luton, Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Stansted or London City. London City only accepts aircraft approved for its steep approach.

Do I need my passport?

Yes, for flights from the UK and from outside the Schengen area, and carry valid ID on any international trip. Check entry rules for every passenger before you travel.

Can you arrange the boat or car?

We can point you to the right option and time your flight around it, whether that is a driver to the port, a private boat or a helicopter where permitted.

Are taxes and airport charges included?

Yes. The all-in figure includes the taxes, airport and handling charges known when the quote is issued.
